We serve over , riders daily and work closely with the allied agencies from the connecting cities and counties where our ridership lives. This is our second year participating with the Pink Patch Program. The San Francisco park rangers operate days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Their roles are similar to what in other cities are known as park police. Park rangers patrol and respond to calls at more than recreation and park facilities situated on 3, acres of land throughout the city and county of San Francisco. These include neighborhood parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, playing fields, natural areas, tennis courts, golf courses, park stadiums and administrative park offices. Since establishing a partnership with the Pink Patch Project, we are dedicated to participate in fundraising events which allows us to support the fight against breast cancer. With the help from public safety agencies world-wide, our mission is to combat this disease, support research organizations, and win this fight!
San Joaquin Delta College District Police The San Joaquin Delta Community College District Police Department provides primary law enforcement services to the District and serves a student population of approximately 21, which includes three campuses Stockton, Mountain House, and Manteca and two undeveloped properties spread across 2, square miles in five counties. All of our uniformed staff have been provided pink patches to display while on patrol and we are proudly wearing them in our effort to support awareness and, hopefully, provide funding for research and prevention.
This year, all of the monies collected from patch purchases will be dedicated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Our city is approximately 4 square miles. Our agency serves a population of 17, residents. This is our first year participating in the Pink Patch Project and we hope to raise funds and awareness for a cause that helps so many folks affected by breast cancer.
